Spring is here. It is a great time to think about your warm weather wardrobe and make sure you are projecting the image that bests represents your brand in this new season.

The past two years has been challenging to say the least for most of us as we’ve had to navigate through a world of COVID, lockdowns, restrictions, reopening’s, more lockdowns and on and on. We have been forced to restructure almost every aspect of our lives’ personally, professionally, socially, physically, psychologically, and so many other ways.

Coming out of the month of February, I began asking God to lead me. I had some serious decisions to make concerning my business and I needed clarity. I was looking for God to give me a blueprint, instructions, or even a vision of what I specifically needed to do. I felt that my next move would be lucrative and impactful if my prayers produced a step by step guide for how to navigate.

I am certified to teach real estate through the North Carolina Real Estate Commission. I was telling my new agents the other day how important it is for first time homebuyers to understand that budgeting is everything. I even gave them tips to give to their prospective clients that would help them with budgeting.

All month around the globe, we are saluting the achievement of our Sheros, past present. Women who fought for all women to have the right to achieve her dreams, to actively participate in a society where she could use all of her gifts and talents, to have the basic human rights. Over 100 years later, the fight still continues. Albeit, a different level, we still struggle for our place, gender equality and pay equity remain major challenges.
