Who is Chemeka Turner-Williams?
Chemeka Turner-Williams is a woman “of many hats”who is PURPOSE DRIVEN. She is one who triumphs in the face of adversity, she overcomes and beat all odds against her. Chemeka is Faith Walker that’s not afraid to take risks. A woman who gracefully maneuvers through the hardships of family , life, ministry, and business. She’s a trailblazer whose lightening the path. She is a a mother setting the example and leading the path for her four amazing children Tatiyanna, Shaleik, Naseyah, and Nacyiah. Her children have pushed her and encouraged her as she complete her God given assignments. She is building a foundation for her children to be trailblazers and powerful leaders who will use their God given gifts to help make a difference in the lives of others and impact their communities globally.
The Visionary of Surviving in Silence: OVERCOMING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. An advocate against domestic violence and abuse. She’s been described as a “new and unique voice in the earth”, delivering entrenched messages of inspiration and empowerment from a fresh perspective. Chemeka has harvested foundations of skilled advocacy, oratorical abilities and scholarship, which infuses motivational and perspicacious teachings with a sense of history and contributions of modern thinkers and teachers.
Chemeka is a Minister serving in the House of Mandate In located in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, serving under the tutelage and leadership of her Pastor and Spiritual Father, Pastor Orin Perry. She is a CEO, COO, Author, social entrepreneur, philanthropist and seasoned humanitarian, recognized as an African American woman, leading others with the courage to help change situations for women and children who have faced domestic violence/abuse. She has a strong commitment to education, the empowerment of women economically and meaningful leadership. Chemeka has assisted more than 5000 Women & Children in Crisis by Educational programs, Distributing Clothing and personal care items and food at no cost. She has single handedly initiated and coordinated numerous corporate & community outreach programs and much more.
Chemeka received her B.A in Elementary Ed. from North Carolina Central University, Masters of Arts in Counseling from Cambridge College, and her Ed.S (Educational Specialist in School Administration) from Cambridge College in 2015. She launched Pearls of Purpose Inc, a world-wide feminist institution, for women of all ages. PEARLS OF PURPOSE INC. is a Nonprofit Organization focused on Supporting and Empowering WOMEN and CHILDREN In Crisis. PEARLS OF PURPOSE INC. will focus especially on abused women and children and children affected by incarceration, women and children facing homelessness and human trafficking. PEARLS OF PURPOSE INC. also empowers women by providing support services and resources through collaborative partnerships with community and faith based organizations. PEARLS OF PURPOSE provides women with quality coaching & development through Empowerment Events, mentorship, Healing Seminars and Personal Coaching Sessions. These support services will help them transform from victims into survivors who have reclaimed their lives and live without violence and fear of further abuse
In 2018 she launched I AM PURPOSED COACHING, LLC Business and Leadership Coaching. I AM PURPOSED COACHING LLC was later rebranded as NEXT LEVEL COACHING & CONSULTING LLC. This is a professional and licensed Life Coaching business that specializes in training and educating clients to achieve their business/leadership goals and improving their competence, capacity and productivity. Chemeka also serves as the Chief Operations Officer of Mandate Enterprise, a rising Fortune 500 company. An educator in public and private schools for 17 years, Chemeka also served in various roles throughout her community. Chemeka also served as the Town Commissioner of Garysburg, NC, overseeing the Parks & Recreation Department for four years. Chemeka also served on several boards, including the Town of Garysburg CD, Board of Roanoke Valley Adult Day Center, and Department of Public Safety (DPS) of Women Correctional Institution for several years.
She recently received the title of Ms. Black North Carolina 2019, with a platform entitled, “DOMESTICALLY DIFFERENT”!!! This title grants her opportunities to become actively involved in the lives of battered and neglected women and children. As she interacts with the community, Chemeka stands boldly on The Word of God to relate to her listeners. Chemeka will serve by ADVOCATING, EDUCATING & bringing an awareness to end Domestic Violence and Abuse. She WILL BE A VOICE TO THE VOICELESS, STRENGTH FOR THE WEAK, AND COURAGE FOR THE SCARED!!!
Chemeka has a mission to help the lost and aide the broken-hearted. She’s also a licensed and ordained Minister who has a passion to see women and young adults excel in their faith, family, business, finances and healthcare. Filled with the desire to not only share her story of adversity, triumph and success, her hearts ambition is to empower families affected by abuse, incarceration and homelessness by providing information, programs and resources, helping them heal and live better lives.
Chemeka is a woman on the rise impacting lives globally. She is leading in the community bringing about change and answers to global issues. As a result of her dedication and commitment to the upbuilding of people and communities, Chemeka was nominated by ACHI Magazine as the 2019 Philanthropist of the year and 2018 Community Leader of the Year. Her community efforts and initiatives have impacted communities near and far. Chemeka also competed and was selected as. She is an advocate for women and children of Domestic Violence and Abuse and those impacted by incarceration. She is so dedicated and committed to Domestic violence and abuse because she endured abuse for so many years. She has survived the silent killer of Domestic violence and has Overcome the trauma of being abused. Chemeka has dedicated her life to educate, bring awareness and advocate for those affected by this pervasive issues. She is a 3 x published Author with the release of her latest book “Surviving in Silence: Overcoming Domestic Violence.” This book is a tool and resource guide to ending this hidden issue that has embedded itself in our society. Chemeka will continue to be the salt of the Earth and impacting lives wherever her feet may tread. She is LEADING ON PURPOSE!!!
Chemeka and several business partners facilitate entrepreneurship seminars, throughout the nation, to inform and inspire those who dream of owning their own business. They strive to provide alternatives for establishing and maintaining financial stability in uncertain economic environments. Please tell us what being a business owner means to you and why you became an entrepreneur in the first place?
Being an entrepreneur is all about taking control and creatively defining your own destiny and happiness through business and partnership. Entrepreneurship offers you the ability to create vision that impacts lives and create Legacy!
As an entrepreneur, people will look up to you. I have the ability to be a role model for my children, family, friends, and community members. Your success serves as motivation and inspiration. Many times we are a sign of hope and encouragement to others.
I started my businesses for greater freedom to pursue vision and navigate my life and be a vehicle for change! I’m able to be innovative without restraints while creating unlimited income. I started my business because I saw the opportunity to provide a very valuable service to my surrounding community Owning a business gives you the opportunity to support local charity events, local schools and nonprofit organization. Being able to make a impact in my community indeed an honor!

PEARLS OF PURPOSE INC. vision is educate, advocate and bring awareness to and prevent abuse on women and children, children affected by incarceration, and mothers facing homelessness. We will assist in the healing process and improve the lives and living conditions of the FAMILIES impacted by these pervasive issues.
Pearls of Purpose Inc. is committed to bringing awareness to prevent domestic violence and child abuse and neglect in all its forms (sexual, physical, mental, and emotional), through programs, safety training, services, public awareness, education, advocacy, networking, mentorship/ coaching programs as well as collaborative partnerships with the community and faith based organizations.
We are committed to bringing support and resources to survivors across the nation, educating our nation about the effects of domestic violence, ending the misunderstandings and stigma surrounding survivors and encouraging survivors to heal and break their silence
For families affected by incarceration we will provide behavioral, academic, and empowerment programs for children who have one or both parents in prison. The program also includes creating referrals to community resources and other services that also helps families cope with incarceration.
These support services will help them transform from victims into survivors who have reclaimed their lives and live without violence and fear of further abuse.
I started Pearls of Purpose Inc because I know our community is in need of it. As a teenager and adult I experienced Domestic Violence. During that time of my life I suffered In Silence. There was no outlet for me, nor was there any program that I knew of that could help me through those trying times. I wanted help but didn’t know who or where to turn to. Today I am an overcomer, empowered, confident and strengthen. I want to help young girls and women become overcomers themselves. As a result I authored a book “Surviving in Silence: Overcoming Domestic Violence “, a powerful collaboration and resource tool to identify she overcome domestic violence safely.
