1.     Who is Yolanda Cumbess?

I am a compassionate, resilient, and multi-talented woman who has overcome many challenges to achieve personal success.  I am an encourager.  I find creative approaches to overcome obstacles, and I believe that my unique hardships and successes have given me a broader perspective on how to approach problems, how I measure success, and how to appreciate others.

I love encouraging others because I know what it feels like to be marginalized, discouraged, and misunderstood.  I’ve also had to learn to set better boundaries.  I’m a natural giver and I also love to educate.   I believe that this is what God has called me to do.

2.     Please tell us what being a business owner means to you and why you became an entrepreneur in the first place?

My primary employment is with the United States Patent and Trademark Office as a Patent Examiner.  Immediately after publishing my first book, I was further motivated to found YRC Aspire Enterprises, LLC, and Break Free Ministries Inc.

I was inspired to found these organizations because of the unique challenges I’ve had to overcome to achieve success, and my desire to help others overcome their own challenges.  One of my skills in motivating others is my transparency.  I want others to know that they are not alone, and to help others achieve greater personal satisfaction the way that I have.

Being a business owner to me means recognizing a need, and then offering a solution to improve the lives of others.  This is one way for me to contribute to society.  Encouraging others also encourages me.  As a Christian I believe that it is my duty to share my gifts and knowledge with others, and to demonstrate His power on earth.

3.     Please tell readers about your business what product or service you provide and who your target audience is?

YRC Aspire Enterprises, LLC., is an organization to empower others to realize their full potential by helping others to identify and develop their given gifts and talents and to recognize their unique value as a person, created by God.  The goal is to help others experience personal satisfaction, and to positively impact the world around them.  This organization further motivates others to break free from tradition to find creative approaches to overcome fear and various obstacles.  I offer speaking services, and I’m currently working on a course and other materials.

Break Free Ministries, Inc. serves to empower others to break the cycle of destructive relationships to live more productive and purposeful lives through knowledge of their identity in Christ.  Break Free offers practical tools to help others distinguish between destructive and healthy relationships, set healthy boundaries, and develop themselves as an individual.  The ministry prioritizes their walk with Christ, and points others towards their God-given purpose.   I offer my knowledge with workbooks, speaking events, and other educational resources.

4.     Yolanda, please tell readers more about your book and how they can support and purchase it?

Break Free from the Cycle of Destructive Relationships was written to help others break the cycle of destructive relationships by embracing their identity in Christ.  The book helps others identify and distinguish destructive relationships from healthy ones, why we make certain choices, and how to identify our own destructive dating patterns.   The book emphasizes Christ’s perfect love for us, the significance of developing a deeper relationship with Christ, setting personal boundaries, dating with a purpose, forgiveness, and living a purpose driven life. The book can be purchased on Amazon. www.amazon.com/author/yolanda.cumbess

5.     Please tell readers how they can follow and support you on all social media platforms?
