It’s All About Style

Who is Kristin Peoples?

Love this question! Kristin Peoples is a multi-faceted woman on the rise! First and foremost, I am a mother, daughter, friend…etc.

However, I am also an up-and-coming Style Coach that teaches women how to transform and rebrand themselves through developing their personal style! I love what I do so much – I feel so blessed! I have the opportunity to impact so many people while simply operating in my purpose and sharing my gifts.

Please tell us what being a business owner means to you and why you became an entrepreneur in the first place?

For me, being a business owner is all about ownership – while incorporating doing what you love. I am firm believer that each one of us can make an impact, while making an income.

Please tell readers about your business what product or service you provide and who your target audience is?

I provide virtual style consultations to professional women who are looking revamp their style and relaunch their personal brands. My target audience would include anywhere from an entrepreneur looking to do define their style and ensure it aligns with their brand…… to the new mother that has lost her way when it comes to practicing self-care through style and selecting clothing that ensures she feels her best!

What are some strategies you would like to give to aspiring fashion creatives who are looking to grow in the fashion industry?

I would advise any fashion creative to make connections and build relationships with other professionals in this space. Relationships and collaborations are key! Another thing is to always put yourself out there! What I mean that is…ditch your comfort zone. Don’t be afraid to reach out to publications, brands, etc. and pitch yourself!

Please share with readers three fashion tips for the summer/fall?

1.     Complete a closet audit! Before transitioning into the new season, check out the pieces that you already own. Also, remove any items that you haven’t worn (in a while) – decluttering is essential!

2.     Purchase transitional clothes. I advise clients to make purchases that are versatile! Select items that can take you into the new season (i.e. midi dresses, blouses, blazers, jeans)

3.     Have fun & try something new! Venture out and try new patterns and color palettes!
